Bethany was working towards a Level 3 Business qualification 5 years ago when she decided to complete her work experience with Hawkins. A year later she joined us on a permanent basis as a Junior Accounting Assistant then progressed into a Finance Assistant role.

Bethany’s potential and commitment has been unquestionable from day one. Since joining Hawkins she has completed her AAT Level 3 qualification and recently started her CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) supported by Hawkins. Investment in our people is fundamental as they are our biggest asset!

“The growth, attitude and capability of our team to take on more complex and interesting jobs means that there is nothing that we can’t do”

– Matt, Contracts Manager (Hawkins Projects)

Ryan joined Hawkins as a Steel Fabrication Labourer at the age of 16. After three years, Ryan was enrolled on a Steelwork Fabrication apprenticeship programme and started attending college one day a week.

As he worked through his apprenticeship, his technical knowledge and skillset continued to grow and over the years has become a valued member of the specialist fabrication team.

“Since I started, Hawkins has continued to grow, but despite this, they never lost the close-knit, caring environment that originally attracted me. I feel grateful, and it is a pleasure to work for a company with real determination that treat their staff so well. Needless to say, I have never looked back.”

– James, CAD Technician (Hawkins Steel)
