We recently welcomed James from Wykham Park Academy for his work experience placement at Hawkins Steel Ltd. What a fantastic effort he delivered!
As part of his time with us, James took on a mini project to develop his own product concept. From creating a company name and logo to designing and manufacturing a prototype, he experience the full journey from idea to production.
A passionate Oxford United supporter, James chose to design and fabricate a football goal. Throughout the project, he demonstrated great enthusiasm and creativity, bringing his idea to life from concept through to completion.
A big thank you to Ian Baum for supporting James with the fabrication of the goal, and to Leigh Evetts for assisting with painting it in the classic white finish.
Well done, James – a fantastic achievement all round!
