Hawkins Roofing held its 1st Open Evening on Wednesday 18th June with a view to take on 6 new roofing apprenticeships over the next 6 months who will undertake a CITB recognised Roof sheeting & cladding apprenticeship in the New Year.
The Opening Evening consisted of a short presentation, demonstrations and practical participation. All of those who attended found the evening to be informative and fun.
Paul Jackson, Director commented ‘This is the first time we have ever run this type of event and I am delighted with the response and feedback, this will definitely be something that we will continue to do to support our recruitment drive in the future’.
I am also pleased to report that following on from this event and subsequent interviews we have made job offers to four attendees who have all accepted.
