Last weekend our Style Acre boys Glen and Ollie were kindly invited by Will and Nell Norton of Manor Farm in Napton to go and spend a day experiencing farm life and all of the jobs involved in running a successful farm.
Glen and Ollie had a fantastic time meeting the pigs, sheep and chickens on the farm before being treated to a go on the quad bike and a ride around the farm on the tractor.
As they were being shown around the farm Will talked them through a typical day on the farm and all the work involved in looking after the land and the animals.
They finshed the day being spoilt by Nell with tea and homemade mince pies and biscuits .
Will and Nell lovingly breed and rear their flock of organic sheep and pigs before taking them to a local butcher to be made into top quality sausages, burgers bacon and gammon. They then sell their home produce from their 1965 converted Citroen H Van ‘The Red Banger’
