Second Floor Steel Structure

Hawkins Steel Ltd were recently awarded the contract to complete the concept, fabrication, drawing office design and installation of a second-floor steel structure with light weight roof construction at St Luke’s Hospital in Oxford.

Working closely with the hospital management team, a special effort had to be made to ensure there was no disruption to the existing services at the hospital and it was kept fully operational  throughout the project.

The project called for 82 Tonnes of Hot Rolled Steel and 14 Tonnes of cold rolled sections which was installed over a 9 week period.
