Hawkins Steel Ltd were awarded the steelwork project for a new innovation centre at the Catesby Tunnel development in Charwelton, Daventry.
Working with the architect’s original concept drawings, Hawkins Steel design team worked closely with the client and structural engineer to produce a workable solution to meet the architectural requirements including curved arches for feature windows.
Hawkins Steel Ltd were responsible for the supply and installation of the of fabricated structural steelwork.
The steel frame was fabricated in house to BS EN 1090-2 CE marked to execution class 2.
The structure was installed over 12 consecutive days, inclusive of all galvanised cold rolled sections.
