Office Refurbishment

Hawkins were employed to undertake concept design, cost planning, and value engineering to manage the project within the client’s budget. The collaborative process of managing design and budget ensured that the client’s requirements to substantially improve the working environment for all employees and to make the Brady offices appealing to any future employees were met.

The refurbishment included major upgrades to the building envelope, new roofing, cladding, curtain walling, glazing and a redesigned main entrance, significantly improving thermal performance and appearance. Externally, the site was reconfigured with improved pedestrian routes, drainage, security, and a new landscaped courtyard.

Internally, Hawkins carried out a full strip-out and fit-out, delivering modern workspaces, meeting rooms, collaboration zones, and specialist areas, all finished to reflect Brady’s global brand. Central to the refurbishment was the installation of a completely new building services infrastructure. Hawkins oversaw the integration of upgraded heating and cooling systems, ventilation, lighting, power distribution, data networks and life‑safety systems.

The project also introduced new welfare and front-of-house spaces, canteen and kitchen facilities, relocated and upgraded the shower and WC facilities, and improved reception and customer demonstration suites, all developed in close partnership with Brady’s internal teams.

Delivered over a 45-week programme, the project was completed safely and to the agreed commercial framework. The result is a fully modernised, efficient and future‑ready campus that reflects Hawkins Projects’ technical capability and collaborative approach.
