Last week the Hawkins Group attended the launch of the Cherwell Business Awards 2017 – the awards are in their 7th year of running and our group managing director, Mike Hawkins was asked to speak at the launch on what it means to be a winner.
The awards showcase and celebrate individuals and businesses working within the Cherwell District.
Mike spoke about how being part of the awards and the success it brings has helped us as a business to become more successful and how as a company It’s given us confidence, self-belief and made us challenge ourselves further.
Not only have we benefited from being part of the Cherwell Business Awards but being a finalist for the Cherwell Business Awards 2017 meant we were automatically entered for the Oxfordshire Business Awards 2017 where we went on to win three awards
Mike finished by saying “The whole process of being involved in the awards over the last five years; the people we’ve met, friends we’ve made, the business we have acquired and our phenomenal growth is down to this spectacular journey we’ve been on. You have nothing to lose by entering.”
