From humble beginnings to a vital leadership role, John’s journey with Hawkins Roofing Ltd is pretty inspiring. He joined us as a labourer for what was meant to be just 6 months, but he never left!
Impressed from day one, Mick welcomed him into the team as an apprentice, supporting him through the National Construction College in Birmingham. John quickly rose through the ranks to become Roofing Supervisor, and now, 20 years on, he’s thriving in his new role as Roaming Site Manager, overseeing multiple live projects with incredible skill and knowledge.
In his spare time, John is a passionate supporter of Northampton Football Club – just don’t ask him to miss a match day!
Fun fact: John is the youngest Hawkins employee to reach 20 years of service – his journey is not just impressive – it’s inspiring!
