On Friday evening Hawkins attended the Oxfordshire Business Awards, we were finalists in 2 categories, The Natwest Large Business Award and our managing director Mike Hawkins was a finalist for the Shaw Gibbs Young Business Person of the Year Award.
The black-tie awards dinner was held at the Kings Centre in Oxford and was a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to come together and celebrate their hard work and achievements over the last year.
Entries for these awards come from all over the county and from a variety of different businesses, the awards really show case the versatility of what Oxfordshire has to offer and the strength of the businesses in the area.
Once entries for the awards have been submitted the sponsors of each award will review all of the businesses and pick three finalists, the award sponsors then go out to visit and interview each of the finalists so that they can decide who to name the winner of that category for Oxfordshire.
Hawkins achieved massive success on the night and we were over the moon to be named the winners of not only the 2 categories we were finalists in but also winner of the final award of the night, the overall Business of the Year Award.
